The list of National Champions from 1999. Traditionally the National Champion has been based on a single Nationals Tournament. In Jan 2026 The Scrabble Association of India has introduced a new computation of the National Champion based on all the major tournaments of the year. As such the Nationals winner Madhav Gopal Kamath retains the National Champion title for 2025, but in addition Sherwin Rodrigues has also been declared as the Indian National Champion for 2025.
You can read more about the computation of the National Champion from 2025 in the policy here.
