Madras Scrabble Foundation is pleased to announce the – SA Engg. College Scrabble Cup 2016 on the 10th and 11th of September 2016 (Sat & Sun) at SA Engineering College, Thiruverkadu, Chennai.
  •     The Venue: SA Engg. College, Poonamallee – Avadi Road, Veeraraghavapuram, Thiruverkadu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600077.
  •     The facility is air-conditioned.
  •     The venue is 14 km from the airport. 45 minutes will be the travel time from the main city.
  •     Air-conditioned pickup vehicles have been arranged to pick up and drop from T. Nagar, Vadapalani, Guindy, and Porur. T. Nagar (17km) is the heart of the city with shopping facilities. Porur (8km) is the nearest place to stay close to the venue.
  •     Boards and Timers will have to be brought by the participants.
  •     The Tournament starts at 9:30am. Registration starts at 9am on 10th September, Saturday.
  •     The prizes for the top ten: Rs. 15,000; Rs. 10,000; Rs. 5000; Rs. 4000; Rs. 3000; Rs. 2000; Rs. 2000; Rs. 2000; Rs. 2000, and Rs. 2000.
  •     The Dictionary is CSW15.
  •     The tournament software is tsh.
  •     The number of games will be 15: eight games on the first day and seven on the second.
  •     Entry fee Rs. 1200/-.
  •     Shri. Ashok Bhandarkar has consented to be the Tournament Director.
